How to Build A Beer Pong Table?

Ryan asked:

I have been collecting bottle caps for a beer pong table. I got the plywood and I am soon going to build a border for it. Then, I am going to lay down all my bottle caps, but I am not sure if I should use plexiglass or epoxy to lay over the caps. I also want to put some lights around the edge (probably rope lights). Let me know what you think.

  1. Plexiglass, because epoxy is going to be hard to make perfectly flat. And for the lights, remember that lights have to be plugged in and drunk people could trip on the cord and either hurt themselves, or break the light setup that you worked so hard to build.

  2. Add a video screen or two. A spinning time tunnel would work.
Little white mice running through a maze.Hide peoples car keys under the glass, or better yet there cell phone, then call them. All neet things to put inside a drinking table.

  3. If you go to the hardware store they should have a product that is kind of like a polyurethane I don’t think it is a epoxy. I can’t remember the name of it. It is self leveling and drys clear. It is like the stuff they use to put coins and stuff into bars
