use 2×4s on edge to create a lip, but you would have to use a router to get the lip for the plexi glass to sit in. then caulk it or whatever so its waterproof, so beer doesnt get to your lights.

the table legs were 19.26 a pair, the wood was like 32.46, primer was 15.97, green paint was 14.98, and clear coat was 9.98, 2 sanding sponges were 5.00, and tape was 5.00……..all purchased at Lowes.

yeah the legs are …
yeah the legs are 29.1 inches, and with the thickness of the wood, makes it about 30 inches. Perfect height. The only reason its so cheap is because you get an 8×4 sheet and cut it in half for 2. Also, i spent 35 bucks on the sheet of wood sanded on one side. but if you want a good table, get the 50 dollar sheet of wood, its sanded both sides, and really strong.

This is a great video. You should sand the table with the grain, too. Also, if you want to make sure your lines are straight, and no paint bleeds through, you could use some clear caulk.

Wouldn’t have been easier to paint the white first? Then you would only have to apply and remove the tape once…. 1,Paint the triangle area and both sides; 2,apply the tape; 3,paint the entire table black; 4, remove teh tape then proceed…. Just a thought
